We’re proud to announce that Morrilton Junior High School has earned an “A” School Letter Grade — one of only 29 junior high/middle schools in Arkansas to achieve this distinction! 🏆

MJHS was recognized at the October South Conway County School District Board of Education Meeting for this outstanding accomplishment and for earning the Best Overall Growth Scores on the 2025 ATLAS Assessment! 📈💪

The South Conway County School District proudly celebrates Morrilton High School Boys’ Head Basketball Coach Keith Zackery, the 2025 recipient of the Steve Willbanks Award for outstanding contributions in enhancing the lives of youth across Arkansas.

Coach Zackery’s leadership, mentorship, and heart for students truly reflect the spirit of a Devil Dog—a servant leader committed to helping young people reach their full potential both on and off the court.

The Steve Willbanks Award, presented annually by Community Service, Inc. (CSI), honors Arkansans who make a lasting impact on the lives of youth. CSI provides vital programs and services—ranging from mental health and education support to foster care and substance abuse prevention—that empower families and transform communities.

With school events starting, please make sure you have completed this step! All SCCSD Schools Now Have “Visitor Aware” This is a New System for 2025 License scanned prior to this school year are NOT in this system. Drivers’ Licenses are Required to Enter the Main Buildings for student events. If you have not scanned your license this school year at one of the iPads in any of our school offices, please stop by and do so as soon as possible to avoid long lines during events. Once you have done this at one school, you are good for all 5 buildings. Thank You for helping us keep our kids safe!
