Good morning, Kindergarten parents! Here are a few quick reminders for drop-off and pick-up:
Morning Drop-Off
* We unload one car at a time.
* Please have your child on the passenger side, ready to get out.
* A duty teacher will open the door and help your child safely to the sidewalk.
* Students will walk into the building and head to breakfast.
Afternoon Pick-Up
* We load 3–4 cars at a time.
* Please pull forward to the smiley faces.
* Duty teachers will open the door and help your child into the passenger seat.
* We cannot buckle students in. If your child needs help buckling, please pull forward or park so you can assist.
• Be very alert since preschool families will be walking in and out of the building close to pick up time!
Thank you for helping us keep the line safe and moving smoothly! It goes quickly once everyone gets the routine down. 🐾❤️

We had a GREAT first day! Please review the MPS traffic plan!
We ask that you follow the plan and stay in your car. This lets us practice loading the children the correct way so we can get them used to our procedure! All of the schools realize that it's going to be slower than usual so it's not a big deal if you get to another campus later than you think you should!! We are all in this together! Love, Mrs. Wilson

Dear Parents and Guardians of Bus Riders,
With afternoon temperatures reaching 100 degrees or higher, we want to take additional steps to help keep our students safe and as comfortable as possible during their bus ride home.
Beginning today, the South Conway County School District will provide cold bottled water to students riding our buses home in the afternoons when temperatures are extremely hot.
Our school buses are equipped with air conditioning; however, during extreme heat, it can be difficult for the air conditioning systems to keep up—especially when buses are making frequent stops and opening their doors. When appropriate, we will also allow bus windows to be opened to increase airflow and help keep the buses cooler.
We will continue providing bottled water during afternoon routes for as long as temperatures remain extremely hot.
Thank you for your understanding and, most importantly, for the trust you place in us each day. The safety and well-being of your children are extremely important to us. We will continue doing everything we reasonably can to keep them safe, hydrated, and comfortable while they are in our care.
Thank you for your continued partnership and trust in the South Conway County School District.
