MORRILTON, AR — Morrilton High School has made a remarkable leap in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings, securing the 38th spot out of 310 high schools in Arkansas. This marks a significant improvement from the school’s 79th place ranking in 2024, reflecting the dedication and progress made by the entire Morrilton High community.
Known for its strong academic foundation, Morrilton High offers a comprehensive and diverse curriculum that includes Advanced Placement (AP) courses, Concurrent College Credit opportunities, robust Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, and a wide array of courses in the Arts. This well-rounded approach prepares students not only for higher education but also for real-world success.
Beyond academics, the school is thriving with extracurricular opportunities that cater to a variety of interests and talents. From award-winning athletic programs to exceptional offerings in the humanities—including drama, music, and choir—students have ample opportunity to grow, lead, and excel. Numerous clubs and service organizations further support student development and engagement.
Adding to the school’s unique identity, Morrilton High is proud to be the home of the one and only “Devil Dogs” in Arkansas—a mascot that embodies school spirit, resilience, and pride.
Congratulations to the scholars, staff, and families of Morrilton High School for this outstanding accomplishment. Your continued commitment to excellence has not only elevated the school’s ranking, but also strengthened the foundation for future success.
