MJHS held our annual school-wide spelling bee today. After a grueling 13 rounds, our winner was Heidi Winnen. Second place was Logan Viveiros, 3rd place was Isabella Gruita, and the alternate was Greyson Brinkerhoff. We are so proud of these students!

Nov. 27th Calendar of Events:
The South Conway County School District will be closed November 20-24 for Thanksgiving Break.
Students and Staff will return to school on Monday, November 27th.

Mrs. William's Advisory class bought the most tickets for our yearbook raffle and earned an ice cream party. William De'Guia was the winner of the "Movie" basket. Thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket to support the MJHS yearbook staff.
MJHS Beta club will be having a bake sale Thursday night from 6 to 8 at Devil Dog Arena. All proceeds will go towards service projects and state convention. Come out to support the Devil Dogs and your MJHS Beta Club!
Thursday MJHS Beta Club will Induct new members into the club and remind us all of the eight primary principles Beta was founded upon. Induction will be held in the MJHS library during 6th period (12:30-1:00) Beta parents are welcome to attend.
Congratulations to Mrs. Tiffanie Manes on being awarded the Carrie Taylor Distinguished Director of the Year award for High School! This is her second time to achieve this award.
The South Conway County School District is blessed to have Ms. Manes serving our scholars as the Director of Choral Performance!

Today is World Kindness Day and we have some of the kindest students at MJHS. Two of these students were honored today for showing acts of kindness to their peers. Congrats to Jakenzie Halcromb and De'Leshaun Jarrett for being nominated by their teachers.#bekind#worldkindnessday
MJHS American History and Art classes had the honor to listen to the experiences of two veterans Mr. Hobbs and Mr. Arnold. We would like to thank both of these men and the countless others who have served our country. Happy Veteran's Day!
Students at Morrilton Junior High School were able to honor nearly 60 Veterans on our Wall of Honor and we sent over 50 cards to active duty service members who are stationed overseas. #veterans#LSC#community
